Nestled less than 1 km from Cova da Alfarroba Beach, the location is perfect for surfing enthusiasts like myself and my companions, with easy access to both the main beach and a local minimarket. The accommodation boasts a well-equipped shared kitchen and lounge, which allowed us to prepare our meals together-a lovely bonding experience that felt very much like home. I appreciated the presence of a responsive host who facilitated smooth communication and even helped arrange a shuttle service from Humberto Delgado Airport, ensuring our arrival was stress-free. What truly stood out, though, was the welcoming atmosphere fostered by the staff and fellow guests. Like a well-conserved wildlife habitat, the vibe here promotes connection and camaraderie, making it easy to share tales of adventure with others while enjoying a cozy barbecue on the terrace. My private room included a comfortable balcony-a serene spot for reflection after a day of surfing lessons, a diversion that gave us both thrills and memories to cherish. Sandycamps Surf House provided an authentic experience infused with warmth, making it an ideal destination for both adventure and relaxation in Portugal.
